What is the association of Civil Engineering Student Communities (IMTB)?


The Association of Civil Engineering Student communities, with its short name, the primary mission of IMTB is to create a network of local nationalities. As a simple yet effective civil society organization of each active student community, it is only possible to become institutionalized and create an increasingly expanding formation of the domain, without regard to the separation of the students, in 2008, 13 It was established with the unanimous vote of the building clubs active at different universities. In 2015, 35 different universities have become IMTB members and this number is increasing every year.

Material Festival


The Material festival is an organization that enables students to organise all the three-day conferences and panels, as well as approximately 200 students from all over Turkey and TRNC.

The University of the material festival is decided by the unanimous vote in the General Assembly of the IMTB.

Material festival was first hosted by Pamukkale University Construction Club in 2013. In late April, 2016 was hosted by Mugla Sitki Kocman University Civil Engineering Building Society (MUYAP). It is hosted by the Mediterranean University building Society in 2017.

Timöb (Turkish Civil engineering students meeting)

Timöb (Turkish Civil Engineering students meeting), which is among Turkey's largest student organizations in terms of participation and content, is fully prepared by students, conferences, information exchanges and students It is aimed to step closer.

Timöb was first held by Metu Iaces community in 2008 in Metu in Ankara, with the participation of the industry and the leading names of the public. This organization, which has achieved a great success, was continued by the IMTB, which was subsequently established by the event and decided to take ownership of a different university every year. After the Middle East Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Karadeniz Technical University, Gazi University, Erciyes University, Gazi University, Pamukkale University and Kocaeli University is hosted.

As the young minds of the future, Timöb will allow us to be aware of developments in the field of engineering in Turkey and around the world, allowing future colleagues to meet each other before they are thrown into the sector. In the field of IMTB, each year different ideas are submitted to the voting and the winning university is organized by the expert people in the area of the meeting is shared valuable information.

In short, Timöb is a mission to benefit the sector, which is the basis of grades. As our engineers candidates, we have set a vision for moving forward from the point of this mission to our goal. Timöb is the name of this vision. As a visionary, we come together from different universities each year, taking a step towards developments in the sector and industry.
