About the Department of Civil Engineering

Civil engineering, one of the oldest engineering branches, is one of the first established departments of Mugla Sitki Kocman University Faculty of Engineering.

The aim of the Department in Education was to develop the self-learning skills that were equipped with basic theoretical knowledge, developed, observing, questioning, analytical thinking, creative solution, and adopted ethical values, improved communication abilities, To train engineers who can do teamwork. As a result of the construction engineers who have great responsibilities in creating a sustainable world and improving the quality of life, they have received an education that can adapt to the globalized world, more environmentally conscious, natural resources It is clear that they will be a successful engineer in the protection of innovative, risk management. The Construction engineering profession includes cooperation and interdisciplinary approach in areas such as structure, geotechnical, materials, hydraulics, transportation engineering and construction management. The curriculum, which is further enriched with elective courses, is designed to reflect these features and is continuously recycled.

Mugla Sitki Kocman University Department of Civil Engineering in order to train open construction engineers in Ufku, we cooperate with the universities of other countries, especially the European Community countries, faculty and students Programs that enable them to change. In addition, the Department accepts local students at the undergraduate level, as well as qualified foreign students.

Part of the graduates are building, transportation, energy, irrigation etc. The planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, repair and renovation of engineering building systems are in the public and private sector and part of the academic life continues.

There is a master's degree program in our ongoing department with 100% English education and teaching activities.
